This place was absolutely incredible and was flavor for days. The crispy chicken was cooked perfectly with so much flavor. The tofu dish had such unique flavor combos. The fried rice and pork belly were excellent too. Highly recommend all of those dishes, and the rest of the menu look amazing as well. Go here!

Food and service excellent. Had the whole fish. Moist and deboned. Running on MT drink beautiful and potent. Rice with pork delish. Attentive service. Small tables make dining clumsy. Tip on tax sad and outrageous.

Stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant while in the area. The food was absolutely impeccable and will definitely make an appearance in my dreams until I go back. The crispy fried tofu was an amazing appetizer that came out hot and my friend and I were obsessed with the sauce it came with. I ordered the Lo Ba Beng which was a perfect mix of savory, fresh, and acidic. With a great atmosphere and service to boot, I'll definitely need it make it back!

We reserved for a party of 2 at 12:45, and they still seated us even though we were a bit late :) server was nice and gave good recs. the food was an interesting take on Taiwanese food. Both of us found the ground pork for the lettuce cups to be a bit too salty (we had to order rice). I wish they gave more lettuce or at least it would be free to ask for more lettuce.. The popcorn chicken was so delicious! Blew me away- chicken was cooked so juicy and seasoned so well. The hot honey added such a nice touch. It was airy and Cristy and honestly perfect. Definitely my favorite menu item I tried. The tater tot Dan bing was a bit mediocre but very straightforward (eggs, cheese, scallions, and tater tot) flavor. Overall I'd say we ordered all oily dishes so trying something fresher for more variety would've been nice. Good experience!

Always a solid brunch option - do get the bdsm fried chicken sammie w/ the tater tots, fried tofu and popcorn chicken. Though they open a bit later (noon to be exact), vibes are still quiet & peaceful. Definitely check out the bathroom before you go - Chinese pop karaoke vibes for the win!

100/10 spot! Highly recommend if you are in the area and craving elevated and authentic Taiwanese food. We were lucky enough to snag a fried chicken (only 5 a day!). And it really delivered! The skin was crispy and the dry rub was one of the best! Chicken was moist even though it was white meat, which is a feat in of itself. The broth of the noodles was stewed with care and tasted exactly like the ones from Taipei (yong Kang streets). I loved this place and would definitely come back for the chicken. Note: the pickled veggies were a nice addition to the fried chicken. Super palate cleanser :).

A great place to try Taiwanese food with a slight modern twist! Definitely get their popcorn chicken and celtuce salad! The popcorn chicken is dusted with delicious seasoning and topped with a not-too-sweet hot honey. It's not like the popcorn chicken you get at a boba shop, but it's so delicious. Easily my favorite item. The celtuce salad had a strong peppercorn and mala aroma to it, but wasn't spicy. It had a nice vinegar flavor and paired well with other entrees. The fried rice was good but was made up of mostly cabbage/vegetable. The beef noodle soup was my least favorite item, but was fine. It lacked the classic beefy, savory flavor that I typically enjoy in Taiwanese beef noodles.

Came here around 4:45 on a Friday and was first in line since we wanted to get the BDSM chicken. Got seated and immediately told the waitress to put in an order for it since they only sell 5 a day. We also got the You Fan, Shrimp Floss, and Tang Yuan dessert. BDSM chicken was good, I felt there were maybe some dry pieces which was a little bit of a let down, but it was extremely crispy and I did enjoy the five spice and other seasonings. Shrimp Floss was nice and refreshing. Didn't have any super strong flavors, but the lightness was good to accompany with the chicken. You Fan was probably my favorite dish. The meat had some serious wok hei. I am also just a sucker for sticky rice. Opted to not get it with uni since that would've been an extra $38. Tang Yuan was a nice dessert although I do think it's something you can pretty easily make at home with some frozen tang yuan, vanilla ice cream, PB2 (or similar powdered peanut butter/crushed peanuts), goji berries and cilantro. Still solid though! Everything was quite pricey (BDSM chicken was like $62), but portion was decent and this isn't the most egregious prices I've seen. Overall it's a cute restaurant good for casual date nights or friends. Would probably recommend 2-4 people in your party. Probably 6 max. Really the main egregious part of this restaurant that makes this a hard 4, maybe 3.5 rating is the service. It just is not good. I felt like the workers couldn't be bothered at all to check-in on us the entire time. Seemed like they were just chatting with themselves and laughing and barely paying attention to us or any customers really. But if you're aggressive in flagging them down it shouldn't be too bad.
